Andrea’s Highlight Session: Timeless Moves at Yorktown Beach

Our next Dance Ambassador spotlight features the lovely Andrea, who chose Yorktown Beach as the perfect setting for her highlight session — and we couldn’t have imagined a better fit.

Andrea was drawn to the historic charm of the area: the brick paths, shaded trees, and peaceful waterfront that gave us the timeless and classic vibe she envisioned. The Coleman Bridge in the distance and the way the golden sun hit the water created an absolutely magical atmosphere.

We first met Andrea a couple of years ago when she and our daughter joined the same team — and the two quickly became close friends. It’s been such a joy getting to watch her grow as both a dancer and a young artist.

One of our favorite moments from the shoot? Hands down the sunset water shots. The sun hit the water just right, casting a stunning warm glow around Andrea as she danced along the shoreline. You’d never guess it was freezing, or that we were swatting off gnats the whole time — she made it look effortless!

Andrea has a quiet, gentle energy, and you could see that in her movement. She was a little hesitant at first during some of the improv moments, but once she saw the back of the camera and realized just how natural and beautiful she looked — something clicked. Her confidence bloomed, and it truly shows in every frame.
