Timothy’s Highlight Session: A Triple-Threat in Motion

This session was extra special for us — not only because it featured one of the most talented and driven young artists we’ve met, but also because it marked our very first male dancer highlight shoot.

We met Timothy about four years ago at the Academy of Dance and Gymnastics. Our first shoot together was a headshot session for his theater summer intensive with Destination Broadway. Even back then, it was clear he had something special — a rare mix of focus, talent, and charisma that shines both on stage and in front of the lens.

For his Ambassador Highlight Session, Timothy wanted a city-style backdrop without being in a big urban environment. The Oyster Point City Center in Newport News, VA, gave us just that — clean lines, modern architecture, and open space that fit his vision perfectly.

What made Timothy’s shoot truly unique was his creative direction. He brought a blend of contemporary, hip hop, and — his favorite — tap to the session. One of the most memorable moments came when he laid down his tap board and began to dance. If you’ve ever seen Timothy tap, you know: it’s effortless, expressive, and just plain magical. Watching him move through rhythms with such precision and joy was a highlight we won’t forget.

Beyond his performance skills, Timothy is the definition of driven. He’s not just an exceptional dancer — he’s also a singer, actor, and honors student. His dedication to everything he does is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to have him as a leader in our Ambassador Program.

This session captured his energy, his versatility, and the depth of his talent — all within a modern, stylish setting that reflected who he is as a dancer and artist.
